My Executive Function Skills Detectives Notes Template
A way to think curiously about Executive Function Skills is to use an Executive Function Skills Detective (TM) Lens.

Imagine putting on your detective hat and examining different scenarios in your daily life, whether it’s managing time, organizing tasks, or regulating emotions.
Moreover, this detective approach encourages a growth mindset. Instead of viewing challenges as insurmountable obstacles, you see them as opportunities to learn and grow.

Monarch Learning & Attention Center
We believe that psychological assessment is about more than a diagnosis – it is an opportunity to discover one’s strengths, differences, and resiliency. Monarch is a collective of licensed clinical psychologists who provide evaluations for individuals ages 6 and up with concerns in the following areas:
- Learning/Academic Skill Development (including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia)
- Attention and Concentration (including ADHD)
- Executive Functioning (e.g., planning, organization, time management, task monitoring)
- Social Skills and Communication Styles (including autism spectrum disorder)
- Emotional Functioning (including anxiety and depression)
Through an assessment at Monarch, clients are directed to appropriate services and interventions (e.g., tutoring, coaching, therapy), schools are provided recommendations for the classroom setting (e.g., extra time for test-taking, preferential seating, use of assistive technology) and, when necessary, families are directed to other supportive services (e.g., speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, medical consultation). Our psychologists provide all direct services to clients, and we deliver feedback in a timely manner.
